Microconic's First SouthTec Show

We where invited by the guys at Jones Marketing to participate in the SouthTec 2017 Trade Show in Greenville, SC this year. We had the opportunity to meet several existing customers as well as some new customers and learned about several very interesting applications for our Microconic System.

The guys from Jones Marketing also invited our Florida Sales Team, RAM Sales & Marketing to bring some of their customers by as well. We had some great conversations with the folks from Tsugami, Citizen, Ganesh and iSwiss as well.

SouthTec announced that they would be permanently re-located to this facility in Greenville SC for all the future shows. We'll look forward to returning!

The AMTS Show in Dayton Ohio October 18-19 2017

This was the very first trade show for us in Dayton Ohio! It was held at the Dayton Convention Center and we where hosted by Ed and Mike from Tool Marketing Service's in their booth #425 that was just across the aisle from the Star CNC Booth.

It was a great time to showcase our Microconic Workholding system for subspindels in swiss machining centers.

We had to opportunity to talk to several application engineers Citizen, Star, Tsugami and Genesh and talk about several upcoming applications for bones screws being manufactured in the area.

SOUTH-TEC draws manufacturing suppliers, distributors and equipment builders from across North America and around the world – bringing them together in Greenville, South Carolina on October 24-26, 2017 at the TD Convention Center.

Masa Tool will be exhibiting in Booth 2607 along with our regional managers for the Southern United States, Jones Marketing.

Masa Tool will be displaying the Microconic™ system which is specifically designed for holding workpieces from Ø0.15mm to 10mm (Ø0.006" to 0.390") in any machine that has a collet-type chuck.

The system consists of two major components: The Microconic ™ cartridge, which fits into your CNC machine spindle replacing the standard 5C, TF20 or TF25 collets, and the Microconic™ collet, which fits in the Microconic ™ cartridge.

The Microconic™ system has unsurpassed concentricity: Our manufacturing tolerance is 3µm(.0001") and we guarantee our cartridges to be within 5µm (0.0002") in production use in your machine.

The Microconic™ system works with either draw-type or push-type standard collet systems that are in any machine.

The Over-grip collet capabilities of Masa Microconic™ System, introduces a whole new world of time saving opportunities awaiting. Our Overgrip Collets open up to 4mm (0.157") diameter larger than the clamping diameter.
