Microconic Regular Collets

Microconic Collets enable your shop to convert all of your facilities  turning machines spindles to ONE, universally sized, collet for your small diameter workholding.  

They are available in both a UM5 and UM10 size. 

From 15 minutes to 60 seconds for accurate set-up & changeover!
Converting  a 16C to a 5C collet in a shop to gain additional small diameter clamping range usually results in a tolerance accumulation and generally takes over 15 minutes to change the collets. 

By using our Microconic collets, once the cartridge is in place, you can easily install our collets and set the clamping pressure as you desire right at the spindle nose in about 60 seconds.

  • Concentricity guaranteed to be within 0.0002" (5 microns) in production use.
  • Collet Range Imperial (inch) 0.0086" - 0.3949"
